Health Update

 This will be pretty brief...It has been a rough two weeks for the Beckwith girls! A few days after Maddy's horse show, she got extremely sick and was running temps in the 104's. After visiting her pediatrician he diagnosed her with Flu B. Both her and Alex started on Tamiflu. She improved and Alex never got sick. Early this week I also started running a fever and feeling bad. My doctor would not prescribe Tamiflu without testing me (which turned out to be a God send). Surprisingly, I tested negative for the Flu. We were all a bit shocked. Upon further testing I wound up being diagnosed with Covid. I am feeling better in most areas although I am currently struggling with chest pain and tightness. Praise God no one else has gotten sick at this point! I am so grateful to our amazing doctors who jumped in with advice on how best to protect the kids. And thank you to Kelly for supplying us with Air purifiers!

Please pray that I continue to get better and the rest of the family remains healthy. Hopefully, next week we are back to a "fun" update with pictures!
