Every little boy should be able to run through the hose in the backyard. Too often Alex can't because his port cannot get wet. So once a week when he gets deaccessed we make the most of it. And the result is pure joy!
Alex is struggling to increase feeds as quickly as we would like, but as we always say slow and steady wins the race. So we continue to truck along at our snails pace.
We had a fun weekend. Daddy was playing in a soccer tournament. Alex loves to go out and be "one of the guys". Bruce's soccer team is like family to Alex. He has been a part of the team since he was a newborn. he has grown up with these guys. These days it is so much fun to watch him "warmup" with the guys. They are so tolerant of him stretching and kicking the ball with them. I wish I had had my camera with me because it really is cute. The boys were happy to win the tournament and take home the championship!
We ran labs today. Unfortunately all the results did not get back to me so I will have to wait till tomorrow to see how they look.
Our last bit of good news is that a new nurse started with us. So far we all seem to like her. We are hoping she is the perfect fit for our family!
